I am a tutor, musician and MA graduate. I graduated from Oxford with a BA in Music in 2013, gaining a first and placing 9th in my year group. I completed an MA in Cultural Studies at Goldsmiths, graduating with a distinction in January 2025, writing on a range of topics including literature, art, philosophy and politics.
I have accrued a wealth of teaching experience in the 10 years since I have graduated from Oxford, alongside working as a professional musician. Whilst at university, I taught music at New College School, Oxford. In my ten years as a tutor, I have taught music theory, music GCSE and A level across all exam boards, as well as successfully prepared students for their Oxbridge entrance.
I have also worked closely with students across 7+, 11+ and 13+, English, Maths, VR and NVR, supporting successful entry into schools such as Eton, Lady Eleanor Holles, Magdalen College School, Oxford High School, Latymer, St. Paul's, Surbiton High, Marymount, Putney High, Headington, Radley, St. Edwards, King's Wimbledon, Stowe, Rokeby and Shrewsbury.
I tailor all of my classes to the student's needs, be that catching up on missed work, filling in gaps in particular areas of knowledge, or attaining a specific grade. Be it a recent student who needed to raise their C in A level Music to a B in order to gain entrance to their desired university, or another who needed to meet their predicted 9 in GCSE having spent some time away from school, I am here to help students achieve their goals and enjoy themselves along the way. Students can be sure that they will leave my sessions with a rigorous set of revision notes, annotated scores, core concepts de-mystified and explained, alongside help in strategising work and revision time.
